This is a group I've wanted to write about for a long time.
Atzmus is a Jewish metal band based out of Argentina and the lead singer, Elieser Barletta, is a Chabad chassid. Atzmus's songs, whose lyrics heavily emphasize Jewish themes, have become wildly popular even among non-Jewish crowds in Argentina. "Ser Humano" EP, the group's latest release, was originally released in Argentina as a free download in 2015. Now, in advance of their third full album (also entitled "Ser Humano"), the group has re-released it on all the major streaming platforms for American audiences. They have also included a brand new song, "Insurgente", which along with the rest of the EP will be featured on the full-lenghth album, due out this summer.
